Distribution Logistics Manager (M/F)

About the company

At the heart of an international environment, you will be in continuous interaction with the headquarters in the United States, European teams (Poland, Denmark, UK), our service providers, carriers, as well as our strategic customers.

Your tasks

Reporting to the West Europe Operations Director, you will manage the logistics and distribution chain for France, Spain, and Portugal. You will guarantee the operational excellence of our warehouse based in Alsace and orchestrate flows from reception to final delivery.

• Management of service providers & carriers: Monitor the performance of logistics service providers (audits, compliance with specifications) and optimize transport solutions (costs and quality).
• Flow & customs management: Coordinate logistics activities (IN, OUT, co-packing, rework) and supervise importation procedures with freight forwarders.
• Availability & customer satisfaction: Guarantee stock levels and ensure on-time deliveries for all our channels (GSA/GSB, garden centers, e-commerce, after-sales service).
• Dispute management & negotiation: Analyze non-conformities (returns, shortages), negotiate customer logistics specifications, and justify penalties.
• Team management: Supervise and develop the skills of 2 to 3 employees (Stock Manager, Logistics Assistant, seasonal support).
• Projects & Continuous Improvement: Drive reporting (KPIs), optimize costs, and actively participate in the implementation of our new ERP SAP.

Requirements

With a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics / Supply Chain, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Fluent English is mandatory (international environment).
• Excellent mastery of ERPs and Excel.
• Rigor, organization, proactivity, and a strong ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
