• Definition, analysis, and verification of EMC requirements at the system and equipment level for aircraft and ground systems
• Execution of complex EMC analyses, including shielding effectiveness, grounding concepts, cable routing, and EMI/EMC coupling mechanisms
• Providing technical expertise and consulting for design teams regarding EMC best practices and development according to EMC principles
• Coordination of detailed test requirements as well as validation of associated test plans
• Active participation in EMC qualification tests (conducted and radiated emissions as well as immunity) in accredited testing facilities, including test setup, execution, and data analysis
• Monitoring of supplier activities in the EMC field as well as evaluation of supplier and test laboratory reports
• Assessment of modifications at the equipment and aircraft level with regard to EMC/EMI (incl. bonding)
• Creation of comprehensive documentation such as test reports, analysis reporting, and compliance matrices
• Participation in design reviews, contribution of EMC/EMI aspects, as well as support for release processes and troubleshooting

• Successfully completed studies (Master or Diplom) in physics, electrical engineering, radio frequency technology, communications engineering, or a comparable field
• At least 2.5 years of demonstrable professional experience in the field of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC/EMC), preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
• Sound understanding of EMC principles and relevant standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, DO-160) as well as practical experience with EMC testing equipment and test facilities
• Experience in using simulation tools for electromagnetic fields (e.g., FEKO, CST Studio Suite, ANSYS HFSS)
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing; German skills are an advantage
• Analytical thinking skills, strong communication skills, high attention to detail, as well as willingness to undergo the security clearance procedure (Ü2-Überprüfung)

Framework Conditions & Compensation

• Classification: ERA Bayern, Entgeltgruppe 10 (EG 10)
• Salary range (gross annual salary): approx. € 66,000 – € 78,000 p. a. (depending on qualification, professional experience, and including collective agreement special payments and equal-pay adjustment according to Airbus standard)
