• Pre-sizing and architectural development of components for hybrid and electric propulsion systems (e.g., electric motors, power electronics, and battery systems) according to the latest technology standards
• Execution of trade-off analyses to evaluate and optimize system weight, performance, and overall system integration
• Interface management and coordination across subsystems, including the design of electrical networks as well as the routing of low-voltage and high-voltage cable harnesses
• Development, construction, commissioning, and support of test benches and test systems in the E-Aircraft Systems Test House, as well as definition and execution of test procedures for validation and verification (V&V)
• Execution of data processing, data analysis, and incident troubleshooting, as well as creation of final test reports to support development and design teams
• Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of sound professional experience in the development and design of electrical systems (e.g., electric motors, power electronics, batteries, LV/HV networks)
• Demonstrable experience in test bench development, test operation, and in V&V processes of complex systems
• Sound IT knowledge in tools such as MATLAB, Flexpro, Python, as well as understanding of integrated measurement systems and PLC integration (e.g., AIDASS, real-time systems)
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing, as well as willingness to undertake occasional business trips

• Salary range (gross annual salary): approx. €75,000 – €95,000 (depending on professional experience, qualification, and performance bonuses)
