Airbus - A400M MRO Engineer (d/f/m (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

Here, the focus is on the development, manufacture, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of high-performance and transport aircraft such as the A400M.

- Development, testing, and approval of maintenance procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation for A400M MRO activities
- Providing technical support to MRO facilities and operators in troubleshooting and resolving complex aircraft system and structural faults
- Analysis of defect reports, maintenance data, and operational feedback to identify trends as well as to develop corrective actions and design improvements
- Participation in investigations of technical incidents, including Root Cause Analysis and the development of preventive measures
- Coordination with development operations, suppliers, and aviation authorities to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements and technical specifications
- Evaluation and implementation of modifications, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives for the A400M fleet
- Support in the planning and execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events, such as major inspections and overhauls
- Successfully completed studies in the field of Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical course of study (at least a Master's/Diploma degree)
- Demonstrable several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in the areas of MRO, Airworthiness, or Design Support in the aerospace industry, preferably with military transport aircraft
- Sound knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and propulsion, ideally with in-depth experience with the aircraft model A400M
- Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations (e.g., EASA/LBA or military regulations such as DEMAR 145) as well as maintenance philosophies
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and repair instructions
- Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing; good German skills are an advantage
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance (Ü2 clearance required)

Key Data for the Position
- Salary range (gross annual salary): approx. €72,000 – €92,000 (based on target grouping EG 10 ERA Bayern according to IG Metall collective agreement / Airbus standard, depending on qualification and professional experience)
