Tender & Contracts Manager (LTA / MRT Projects)

About the company

We are seeking an experienced Tender & Contracts Manager to direct the end-to-end bidding lifecycle for major civil engineering and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to formulate competitive, commercially viable proposals from initial appraisal through to final award.

Your tasks

• Direct the complete submission process for complex infrastructure projects,ensuring strict adherence to client deadlines and regulatory compliance standards.
• Formulate competitive pricing strategies, detailed budgets,and accurate cost estimates.
• Critically evaluate internal cost breakdowns,subcontractor quotes,and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to maximize bid competitiveness.
• Scrutinize technical specifications and contract terms to proactively flag commercial risks and operational obligations prior to final submission.
• Partner closely with Engineering,Procurement, and Quantity Surveying departments to consolidate all vital technical and financial data.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client clarifications. Negotiate directly with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal project pricing.

Requirements

skills and experience required

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management,
• Demonstrated previous exposure to large-scale local transport (LTA) and infrastructure contracts.
• Minimum of 5 years of bid management experience within the heavy civil construction sector, including proven experience leading and managing a team.
