about the company I am seeking a Tax Assistant Manager to handle tax compliance and supporting the company’s overall tax function. The Tax Accountant will serve as a key liaison between the Finance team and cross-functional business stakeholders, external tax consultants, and the relevant tax authorities about the job Prepare tax schedules and manage statutory reporting, filing, and payment deadlines across CIT, GST, WHT, transfer pricing, BEPS Pillar Two, and GTP. Lead and coordinate the rollout of new e-invoicing requirements and related tax system updates. Streamline direct and indirect tax workflows, establish compliance best practices, and maintain comprehensive process and internal control documentation. Triage tax-related issues to resolve root causes, keep abreast of developments in tax laws, and explain technical implications to cross-functional stakeholders. Draft responses to information requests from tax authorities and collaborate with external tax consultants on ACAP for GST, Tax Risk, transfer pricing, and BEPS Pillar Two documentation. Partner with internal business units to implement updated tax requirements and train teams to ensure compliance awareness. Support and rotate into core Finance & Administration tasks based on business needs, including month-end closing, reconciliations, financial reporting, treasury, and internal control initiatives. about the manager/team Report to Deputy Finance Manager  CBD area  AWS  skills and experience required Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation ACCA/CPA/CTA is preferred  At least 5 years related experience in corporate tax and GST, preferred experience in Big 4/oil&gas industry  Good knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations and administrative practices, with the ability to assess their impact on business operations Highly motivated, responsible, and collaborative spirit Business-level Japanese is a plus apply online please use the 'apply' function, alternatively you may contact Joanie Lau at 8938 3128.
