about the company We are seeking an experienced  Senior Architect to drive the design and delivery of highly resilient data centre projects. Working within a specialised consultancy, you will be the central figure translating client requirements into highly secure, optimised, and fully compliant mission-critical facilities. about the job End-to-End Design: Steer the full architectural lifecycle for data centre builds, from early feasibility and conceptual massing through to detailed construction documentation and final handover.

Mission-Critical Layouts: Design specialised technical spaces, ensuring the seamless integration of strict security zoning, white space optimisation, raised flooring, and complex loading areas.

Technical Coordination: Act as the central design authority, collaborating closely with MEP and structural engineering teams to resolve clashes and ensure building envelope performance.

Regulatory & Code Compliance: Drive the authority submission process, ensuring all designs adhere strictly to local building and fire safety codes, as well as global DC standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tiers, EN 50600).

Project & BIM Leadership: Oversee the production of precise Revit/CAD deliverable, chair technical client workshops, handle RFIs during the construction phase, and mentor junior design staff.

skills and experience required Degree in Architecture, paired with an active professional registration/license (BOA, LAM, RIBA, AIA, ARB, or equivalent).

At least 8 years of post-qualification architectural experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically focused on data centres or complex mission-critical facilities.

Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD. 

Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory, alongside the ability to confidently present designs and manage fast-paced project stakeholders.
