Regulatory Trade Compliance Specialist

12 months contract, potential to renew

Responsibilities:

• Support the import/export operational activities and communicate with the appointed freight forwarders to resolve day-to-day issues that may result in customs delays;
• Assist in the daily screening of blocked sales orders and purchase orders in Global Trade Services (GTS) to ensure timely delivery;
• Application and maintenance of the business regulatory permits/licenses to minimize any supply chain disruption;
• Review and classification of new/existing products in our portfolio in accordance with latest local regulatory requirements;
• Interact with cross functional departments to ensure compliance, facilitate customs clearance and deliveries to customers;
• Assist the team to manage trade compliance related projects
• Prepare and generate reports for submission to internal/external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma in Logistic/Supply Chain Management/Science/Chemical/Pharmaceutical/ Biotech/Biomedical/Chemical Engineering related discipline
• Knowledge in local chemical regulations
• Minimum 1 year of experience in SAP and Global Trade Services (GTS) system
• Experience in logistic or supply chain
• Proficient in MS Office Applications including MS Excel
• Team player with good analytical
