About the company

Our client is the market leader in their industry. As part of their plan to invest in technology, they are now hiring a new Principal Security Architect | Application Security to join their team

Your tasks

• Architecture Ownership & Authority: Serves as the primary technical decision-maker defining multi-year roadmaps and standards
• Operates at the convergence of AppSec, DevSecOps, and cloud engineering

Your role involves

• Define the overarching application security and DevSecOps architecture across digital retail portals, mobile applications, APIs, and cloud-native services.
• Conduct architectural risk assessments and facilitate threat modeling exercises (STRIDE, attack trees, abuse cases) to embed security into product designs.
• Design the enterprise DevSecOps control framework, establishing policy-as-code, security quality gates, and automated feedback loops throughout CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion secure development practices by leading developer enablement initiatives, establishing security champion networks, and defining AppSec performance metrics.

Requirements

As a successful applicant, you will have

• Application security architecture, secure software engineering, and scaling modern DevSecOps capabilities.
• Solid grasp of authentication, authorization, and cryptographic standards
• Strong foundation in cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, serverless and etc) with the ability to inspect and script in languages
• Deep practical knowledge of operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS), including PLCs, SCADA and etc .
