Inventory Planner
about the company Our client is a leading Japanese healthcare company. They are seeking an inventory professional to oversee their regional spare parts supply chain and ensure seamless service operations. about the job Inventory Control: Manage spare parts inventory to maintain ideal stock levels. Track stock movements and update reorder points based on historical data and usage patterns.
Demand Forecasting: Forecast spare parts demand by reviewing equipment maintenance schedules and past consumption. Partner with service engineers to align inventory plans with upcoming maintenance needs.
Parts Transition: Coordinate the rollover from discontinued parts to new replacements.
Supplier & Order Management: Work closely with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery. Monitor purchase orders, expedite shipments as needed, and resolve back-order issues with the broader supply chain team.
Reporting: Use inventory management systems to monitor order history and stock status. Create reports covering demand forecasts and supplier performance.
Process Improvement: Keep accurate procurement records and continuously improve inventory control processes to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
