They are currently expanding their technology team to support large-scale digital capabilities and high-volume data operations. about the role As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of data engineers building and scaling enterprise data platforms. You will set technical standards, manage core infrastructure, and align data architecture with business goals. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers focused on technical quality and operational efficiency.

Platform Architecture: Oversee cloud-based data lakehouses, batch and streaming pipelines, and data transformation frameworks.

Modernization & Quality: Lead system migrations, implement automated CI/CD and testing, and ensure data governance and compliance.

Execution & FinOps: Support self-serve analytics, enable advanced data capabilities, and optimize cloud infrastructure costs.

skills and experience Leadership: Minimally 2-3 years of experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Technical Background: Minimally 10+ years in software and data engineering, building distributed systems and high-throughput pipelines.

Core Tech Stack: Proficiency with cloud environments (AWS), data lakehouses, dbt, orchestration tools, and data streaming platforms.

Governance & Process: Experience with data quality, metadata tracking, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Stakeholder Management: Ability to partner with business stakeholders to translate strategy into technical deliverables.
