Your tasks

About the Job

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines and efficient ingestion frameworks across diverse data sources.
• Implement Change Data Capture (CDC), smart partitioning, and incremental loads; implement CI/CD automation for pipeline monitoring and version control.
• Architect modern data warehouses and data lakes, designing scalable dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas) and managing data mart evolution.
• Establish automated data validation frameworks, lineage tracking, and alerting systems to ensure high data integrity and data protection compliance.
• Continuously optimize cloud storage and compute resource utilization while ensuring system reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

Skills and Requirements

• Mandarin speaking required as you need to liaise with Chinese counterparts who can only speak and write in Mandarin.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or Big Data development.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• Expert proficiency in Python and SQL.
• AWS: Proven experience with Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena, Lambda, EMR, and Step Functions.
• Databases: Skilled in both Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
