Your tasks

about the job Drive commercial strategy, gross profit yield optimisation, and process efficiency across regional ocean freight tender and pricing operations.

• Lead end-to-end RFQ pricing strategies to maximise gross profit, yield, and overall contract win rates.
• Evaluate pricing exceptions, market movements, and complex cost structures to balance volume defence with rate increases.
• Oversee tariff management, tender handovers, and the resolution of complex internal commercial and pricing disputes.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance tender turnaround times, accuracy, and commercial efficiency.

Requirements

skills and experience required

• Proven track record in ocean pricing and tender strategy within an NVOCC or freight forwarding environment.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and strong commercial acumen in yield management, margin analysis, and stakeholder negotiation.
