• Implementation and monitoring of the Health and Safety Plan on site.
• Monitoring and supervision of the site's PRL performance.
• Supervision and direct support of construction activities carried out by PLD Space personnel.
• Identification, assessment, and control of risks associated with working at height, lifting loads, hot work, and the use of machinery, among others.
• Conducting field safety inspections.
• Training and information regarding PRL for seconded workers.
• Investigation of incidents and accidents.
• Promotion of a prevention culture on site.
• Receipt of PRL equipment sent to Kourou and management of it until its delivery to workers.
• Support for site coordination tasks.
• Documentary control of site safety: work permits, procedures, registers, etc.

We are looking for a Professional Risk Prevention (PRL) Technician with extensive experience in construction sites and industrial facilities, who will be responsible for preventive management during the project execution phase. The main objective is to ensure that all work performed on site is carried out according to the highest safety standards, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. Depending on results and profile, integration as a permanent PRL Technician at the PLD Space facilities in Kourou may be considered once the operational phase has begun.

Required Requirements

• Higher Technician in Professional Risk Prevention (3 specialties: Safety, Hygiene, and Ergonomics/Psychosociology).
• Good level of English (understanding and oral/written expression) indispensable
• Knowledge of Spanish is an asset
• Intermediate Technician in Professional Risk Prevention if they have extensive experience.
• Experience in managing high-risk activities: working at height, lifting loads, hot work, etc.
• Hands-on experience in high-risk activities would be strongly appreciated.
• Experience in complex industrial environments (energy, oil & gas, critical infrastructure, aerospace) is desirable.
• High level of Spanish.
• French is strongly appreciated.
