Systems Engineer

Your tasks

In this Systems Engineer role, the focus will be on the comprehensive design, operation, and project delivery for a highly available and secure enterprise environment.

• Design, implement, operate, and support enterprise data center infrastructure.
• Administer and support physical and virtual servers, enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS), Fibre Channel (FC) switching, and hypervisors/virtualization platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of various infrastructure platforms.
• Participate in capacity planning, system upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, security, and compliance of systems in line with banking standards.
• Maintain and follow operational procedures, documentation, and change management processes.
• Create and deliver technical documentation, proposals, and presentations to internal stakeholders and external partners, while participating in solution design and technical evaluations.
• Oversee project and resource planning, coordinate activities across internal teams, vendors, and service providers, and manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
• Participate in the on-call schedule rotation to support urgent technical needs and ensure system reliability outside of regular working hours.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα To be successful as a Systems Engineer in this dynamic setup, a robust technical background and strong operational governance are essential.

• 5 years of experience in enterprise data center environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong technical expertise in enterprise infrastructure environments, along with a solid understanding of IT service management, change control, and operational governance.
• Experience related to Public/Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proven experience in PowerShell and/or Python.
• Proven experience in enterprise-grade backup and replication platforms is highly appreciated.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with being detail-oriented, organized, and capable of operating in highly available, regulated environments.
• Strong IT skills and fluency in English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured information.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, management, and third-party vendors.
• Availability for on-call schedule rotation to support urgent technical needs.
