Your tasks

Join a thriving school dedicated to delivering high-quality education across both English Literature/Language and Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education. We are seeking enthusiastic educators who can bring dynamic teaching, engaging discussions, and strong support for student wellbeing into the classroom.

• Delivering engaging, high-quality English and PSHE lessons across secondary year groups
• Creating a structured, positive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assessing student work, tracking progress, and providing constructive feedback
• Adapting teaching strategies to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN
• Managing classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies
• Collaborating with the wider department to maintain high curriculum standards

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English and delivering PSHE curriculum content
• Reference History: Minimum 2 years of continuous employment references (character reference required for any gaps exceeding 90 days in the last 2 years)
• DBS: An enhanced child DBS on the Update Service (a full copy of the certificate must be provided)
• Address History: Full 5-year address history
• Training: Willingness to complete mandatory E-Learning modules prior to placement
• Right to Work: Valid Right to Work in the UK (Essential - sponsorship is not available for this role)
