Your Tasks

Creation of structural designs for marine vehicles Creation and processing of steel and class plans Execution of static and dynamic strength calculations Checking of construction documents Correspondence with classification societies and authorities Collaboration with various departments regarding strength and coordination-relevant topics

Our Requirements

Completed Master's or Diploma degree in engineering as a naval architect with a focus on strength and design Several years of professional experience Shipbuilding-specific IT/CAD knowledge, including handling Aveva Marine 2D, Poseidon, Nauticus, Hyperworks, Andysund RFEM/RSTAB Experience in project management Confident handling of regulations such as DNV, construction regulations of the Deutsche Marine, corresponding DIN standards, etc. Proficient knowledge of common MS-Office programs Good written and spoken English skills Conceptual and analytical thinking skills Communication and teamwork skills Independent way of working, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility Willingness to travel between the locations Emden, Kiel, and Hamburg
