Service Demand Planning Associate

Role Type: 6-Month Contract

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Service Demand Planning Associate to join a leading healthcare technology organisation based in Burgess Hill.

In this role, you will be a core member of the Technical Support organisation, coordinating the supply-demand balancing process to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients across the UK and ROI. You will play a vital part in monitoring service activity, scheduling field engineers, and aligning short-to-mid-term resource availability with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor service activity demands, supply levels, exceptions, and imbalances using enterprise digital tools.
• Schedule field service personnel for regular tasks as well as urgent, out-of-hours cases, ensuring high-priority requests are managed effectively.
• Participate in weekly demand-supply balance meetings to help build capacity overviews and manage resource allocation decisions.
• Support long-term planning by tracking 3-12 month overviews for proactive service work, including equipment installations, de-installations, and relocations.
• Maintain high data accuracy across CRM and ERP systems, identifying and resolving any record gaps or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams (including Technical Support, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Success) as well as external stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the planning lifecycle.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: A-Level educated (or equivalent) alongside a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.

Experience: Proven track record in a fast-paced environment managing conflicting priorities and strict deadlines.

Technical Skills: Practical experience working with CRM systems and basic working knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP/ERP).

Sector Background: Experience working within a technology-led environment, ideally within the healthcare sector.

Communication & Mindset: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical attention to detail, and sound geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland.

Desirable: Direct prior experience within a demand planning or scheduling function.
