Regional Sales Manager
Role: Regional Sales Manager - UK, Ireland, Nordics & South Africa Location: Milton Keynes Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum
Randstad has partnered with a leading international networking and connectivity hardware manufacturer to recruit a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across the UK, Ireland, Nordics, and South Africa. The role Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take on a pivotal hybrid role combining strategic sales leadership with direct account engagement. Operating through a two-tier channel model, you will lead an established team of sales and technical professionals while playing a hands-on role in driving demand with end-users, project stakeholders, consultants, and engineers. This is a consultative, project-driven role based out of an office in Milton Keynes, where you will coach your team, navigate complex opportunities, and work closely with distribution and reseller partners to bring strategic deals to a successful close. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor an experienced team of sales and technical professionals to meet and exceed regional revenue targets. Demand Generation & Direct Engagement: Proactively build relationships with end-users, consultants, and key project stakeholders to create demand for specialized networking and connectivity solutions. Channel Management: Collaborate closely with authorized distributors and reseller partners to manage complex opportunities through to final project fulfillment. Technical & Opportunity Coordination: Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) activities, coordinate internal technical resources, and manage consultative sales cycles. Commercial Strategy: Manage commercial negotiations, handle complex objections, and maintain a strong pipeline across industrial networking, out-of-band management, and IoT connectivity sectors. What you'll bring Proven track record of success in B2B technology sales, ideally working directly for a tech vendor. Demonstrable experience in leadership, team development, and driving sales strategy. Deep understanding of the IT channel ecosystem and experience selling via a two-tier channel model alongside direct end-user engagement. Strong consultative selling skill set with experience navigating complex, project-driven sales cycles. Excellent commercial negotiation skills and strong objection-handling abilities. Familiarity with technologies such as Industrial Networking, Console Management, Out-of-Band Management, or network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls). Exposure to environments like critical infrastructure, industrial automation, telecommunications, transportation, or defense is highly desirable.
