TACT (The Adolescent and Children's Trust) is looking for caring, committed and resilient individuals to become Foster Carers across England and Wales .

Your spare room could provide more than just a place to stay - it could give a child the stability, care and opportunity they need to thrive.

CURRENT FOCUS AREAS We are currently looking for Foster Carers in:

• Manchester
• Merseyside
• Yorkshire
• West Midlands
• Wales

Please note: TACT also covers a wider range of geographical locations, so if your area isn't listed above, you may still be eligible to foster.

FINANCIAL PACKAGE

Receive a weekly payment of £491-£1,055 to help cover the costs of caring and recognise the valuable professional skills you bring to fostering.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Foster Carer, you'll provide a child or young person with:

• A safe and stable home environment
• Consistent care, encouragement and support
• A positive role model and someone they can trust
• Opportunities to develop confidence and achieve their potential
• A nurturing environment where they can feel valued and supported

TACT provides ongoing support, guidance, training and development , helping you build the knowledge and skills needed to make a lasting difference.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

To apply, you must meet the following basic criteria:

• Age: 21 or over
• Home: A suitable, permanent spare bedroom
• Residency: Full-time UK residency or indefinite leave to remain
• Experience: Previous experience in health, social care, education, nursing, youth work or a related field is highly desirable

You don't need to be perfect. What matters is that you're caring, committed and ready to make a difference .
