Job Description

Do you want to work with advanced CNC machining in an exciting and demanding manufacturing environment? We are now looking for dedicated CNC operators for an assignment at Bergen Engines! The position is initially a 6-month employment via Randstad, with very good opportunities for permanent employment at Bergen Engines for the right person. Please note that the work may involve 3-shift work.

Tasks:

As a CNC operator, you will become a central part of the production. Your main tasks include:

Operating and monitoring CNC-controlled machines (milling and turning) Machine machining in accordance with production plans and technical drawings Programming and tool setup Use of CAM tools (for example, EdgeCam) Self-control and precision measurement of finished parts Reporting any deviations as well as order management Daily maintenance of machines and your workstation Actively contributing to the department's work with continuous improvements

Qualifications

Desired and meritorious qualifications:

Vocational certificate as a CNC operator Practical experience within the CNC area (milling and turning) Experience with CAM tools (knowledge of EdgeCam is strongly meritorious) Good understanding of production methodology and cutting tools Good language skills in Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) and English
