Purchasing Manager

¤Responsibilities

As a supply chain team lead at Evapco Europe, you will become an important part of the purchasing department in Aabybro. You will be responsible for operational purchasing, primarily order-based, as well as the team leadership of a shipping employee/purchaser and two warehouse employees. Strategic purchasing accounts for approximately 30% of the job. You will experience broad collaboration with both sales, production, warehouse, and suppliers, and therefore the ability to communicate broadly is an important success factor in the job. At the turn of the year, the company converted to Business Central from Axapta.

¤Your tasks:

• Daily order-based purchasing and contract negotiations for materials and raw materials, especially stainless steel, copper, etc.
• Forecasting
• Logistics and order transport
• Dialogue and coordination with suppliers in, among other things, Denmark, Italy, and China
• Quarterly budget and price indexing meetings with management
• Daily team leadership as well as annual salary and employee appraisals

In the job, you will report to the European purchasing director, who is located in Italy, and you will collaborate with your colleagues in Belgium and Italy. There will be approximately 20 annual travel days, primarily in connection with supplier visits.

¤Your profile

We imagine that you come with several years of experience as a purchaser, supply chain manager, or similar in a production or industrial company. You thrive with operational purchasing and think it would be an exciting challenge to motivate and lead a small team. As a person, we would like to see that you are structured and independent, and that you like to create relationships with both your suppliers and colleagues. The corporate language is English, so good skills in both writing and speaking are important.
