RAK Academy - Khuzam

Located in the centre of Ras Al Khaimah city, RAK Academy – Khuzam is a large all-through school offering both primary and secondary education from Pre-K to Grade 12. The primary phase delivers an adapted UK National Curriculum alongside the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), while the secondary phase offers a dual-pathway model with the UK curriculum and the International Baccalaureate in the Sixth Form. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), benchmarked against leading international British schools and are able to fully deliver the ECT induction to teachers.

The Role

RAK Academy – Khuzam Primary is looking for a positive, driven and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join the team.

The successful candidate will:

Supervise and provide learning support for students with or without special needs

Encourage students to interact with the class and engage in activities

Provide feedback to students and teachers on students' achievement, progress and any problems that arise

Prepare class activities, resources and supporting documents

Work with the teacher to create stimulating classroom/corridor displays

Accompany groups on trips

Breaktime supervision

The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

Proficiency in English is required and Arabic is desirable

A can-do and flexible approach

A commitment to the values and ethos of the school

Previous experience of working with children

Bachelor or High School Certification
