Job Description

In Actuarial Pricing, we use mathematical know-how to evaluate the reinsurance contracts offered to us and support underwriters in price determination. In doing so, we rely on specialization in markets and lines of business. We are constantly expanding our knowledge to further develop our valuation methods and create risk-adequate valuations.

• You lead a group of actuaries who technically evaluate international reinsurance contracts.
• You specifically develop and promote your employees in line with technical, methodological, and strategic aspects.
• You support the further development of a team towards a goal-oriented, self-organized way of working.
• As a member of the leadership team, you work continuously on the vision of the department and its implementation.
• You apply your social skills when collaborating with interfaces.

Qualifications

• You possess leadership competence and high social competence for leading a group of mathematicians.
• You have successfully completed a degree in mathematics or business mathematics (Diplom/Master); a qualification as a DAV-Aktuar or DAV-Aktuarin is desirable.
• You bring professional experience from a professional reinsurer in the valuation of reinsurance contracts.
• Ideally, you have gained initial leadership experience in working groups and/or projects.
• You impress as a strong communicator and team-oriented personality with a clear focus on results.
• You possess organizational talent, decision-making competence, and analytical foresight.
• You have very good written and spoken English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage.

Home Office: Flexible working hours in the home office and the office. More info on our hybrid working can be found here.

Working Hours: Standard 38h week, time tracking system, flextime & lifetime working account.

Vacation: 30 days of vacation & additional non-working days (Dec 24th and Dec 31st).

Remuneration: 14 monthly salaries (incl. Christmas & vacation bonus) or participation in the variable remuneration system, special payments, employee tariffs & discount promotions.
