Software Engineer (Java)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot, logs analysis, and perform diagnosis on the Issues/Problems/Defects escalated to the team.
- Participate in testing and error reproduction.
- Prepare solution and technical documents.
- Monitoring of performance, response time and utilization of service application and its components.
- Provide workaround, corrective fixes or data patches for Incidents/Problems.
- Assist with data extraction requests.
- Take ownership of the Incidents/Problems tickets until resolved, and follow-up to ensure it is resolved within the SLA.
- Provide support during deployment activities.
- Able to work and collaborate with all relevant parties, IT teams and users.
- Able to identify improvements, come up with creative and effective solutions to identified system gaps.
- Ability and willingness to work within tightly controlled policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 3 years experience working in IT industry and relevant experience in L2 and L3 Support (Java programming.
- Proven experience in performing system and data recovery
- Work with SQL queries and scripting.
- Familiar with Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge on the following is preferred: - Jira - Understanding of AWS Amazon Web Services - Linux
