Early Childhood Education Teacher

From 7.1.2027, we are looking for a motivated, creative, and warm-hearted early childhood education teacher for our English-language private daycare. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, assessment, and development of the child group's pedagogical activities in cooperation with the rest of the team.

The foundation of Creative Learning Playschool's own pedagogy is children's participation, creativity, play, and experiential learning. As an early childhood education teacher, you will ensure that these principles are reflected in the group's daily activities, the learning environment, and the staff's working methods. Activities are planned based on the children's interests, observations, and individual needs. Learning is supported through play, exploration, movement, art, music, and everyday situations.

The role involves building a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment, as well as supporting the individual growth, development, learning, and well-being of the children. You will prepare and assess children's early childhood education plans, observe children's activities, and utilize observations in the planning and development of pedagogical work.

You are responsible for planning the group's purposeful and diverse activities and guiding the team's pedagogical work. You will ensure that Creative Learning Playschool's pedagogical values and mutually agreed working methods are consistently implemented in the child group's daily life. You will also encourage the team to develop new creative working methods and to view activities from the child's perspective.

The position involves close and confidential cooperation with the children's guardians, the work community, and, if necessary, other professionals supporting children's well-being. You will participate in team meetings, pedagogical documentation, and the evaluation and development of the entire daycare's operations.

We require the appropriate qualification of an early childhood education teacher or being in the final stages of studies in the field. We value good cooperation and interaction skills, initiative, flexibility, and a positive, sensitive, and creative approach to work. Since our daycare operates in an English-language environment, good English language skills are required for the position.
