IT Specialist (m/f/d) – Application Development (Application Programmer)

Your Tasks:

• You are responsible for the smooth operation of our platforms and develop them further in terms of performance and stability.
• You take over the planning, control, and execution of sub-projects and are thus also involved in strategic decisions.
• You create concepts and action plans, analyze, document, and solve technical problems in a goal-oriented manner.
• You work closely with other specialist departments, e.g., software development, project and product management, and serve as a competent technical contact for them.

Your Profile:

Do you have a completed degree in computer science, equivalent vocational training, or are you simply an enthusiastic Linux expert? Do you have professional experience as a DevOps Engineer and are familiar with heterogeneous Linux systems? Are you interested in becoming part of an agile team and have experience with CI/CD as well as automation? Do you enjoy learning new things, appreciate cutting-edge technologies, and can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics? Are you a true team player and is your work attitude "hands-on"? • You are familiar with both the operation, setup, and scaling of highly available web applications (e.g., Apache Webserver, Apache Tomcat, nginx), as well as automation (e.g., Puppet, Ansible) and monitoring (e.g., Datadog).
• You possess experience in Debian-based Linux distributions and know common TCP / IP network services and protocols.
• You have basic knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python), have good database knowledge (MySQL, NoSQL), and ideally have been able to gain experience with the following technologies: Docker, ELK.
• You have experience in concept creation and sub-project management.
• You are characterized by a structured, independent way of working and have strong communication skills in English.
