Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

The Opportunity

A well-established and growing accountancy practice in North West London is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team.

The practice has a strong client-focused approach and works with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and property investors across a range of sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant looking to broaden their experience, develop their client portfolio and take on greater responsibility within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105 .
• Prepare and oversee management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage accounting assignments from planning through to completion.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
• Manage client queries and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise, train and mentor junior members of the team.
• Provide guidance and feedback to support the development of junior staff.
• Assist partners and managers with ad hoc accounting projects.
• Contribute to process improvements and the continued development of the practice.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant accountancy practice experience.
• Strong experience in statutory accounts preparation and review.
• Good technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident managing client relationships and handling client queries.
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
