Full-Time IGCSE Science Tutor

Location: 545 Orchard Road, #14-06/09, Singapore 238882 Start Date: ASAP Commitment: Full-Time (In-person only) About the Role We are hiring a Science Tutor with deep subject knowledge and a passion for simplifying complex concepts. If you enjoy helping students understand Science through both conceptual clarity and practice, we want you on our team. Responsibilities Teach Primary and IGCSE Science to Grade 4–10 students, including Lower Secondary Science and IGCSE Combined/Coordinated Science, in both 1-on-1 and group settings.

Conduct structured lessons on theory, problem-solving, practical concepts, and data response.

Break down challenging topics (e.g. mechanics, electricity, chemical reactions, cells, and human biology)

Run mock assessments and timed practices with feedback

Develop and maintain resource banks and lesson slides

Participate in curriculum planning and academic workshops

Requirements Strong academic background in Science

Effective communicator, especially in explaining complex scientific concepts.

Familiar with the IGCSE Science syllabus

Committed to helping students improve through clear instruction and feedback

Able to create well-structured notes and exercises

Applicants must be currently based in Singapore and legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Graduates and senior tutors are preferred. Strong undergraduates are also welcome to apply.  Salary & Benefits Monthly Salary: $4,500 – $8,000

Work Schedule 5-day week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)

Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Weekends: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (negotiable)
