Patching Operation Engineer

Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end operational coordination of weekly accelerated patching cycles and urgent 3-day patching activities, ensuring readiness, cross-team hand-offs, escalation and closure. Oversee assigned patching cycles from scope confirmation, readiness and testing through deployment, production verification, reconciliation and closure. Maintain cycle plans, RACI, action trackers, decision timelines, approvals, dependencies, risks and escalation status. Coordinate patching readiness across Infrastructure, Network, Middleware, Application, Security, Service Recovery and Change Management teams. Track patch scope, CRQ readiness, approved risk acceptances/VRAs, deferments, exclusions, failed patches, rollback activities and validation evidence. Support scheduled overnight, weekend and public-holiday patching activities, including bridge coordination, incident escalation and effective handover to accountable decision owners. Develop and maintain SOPs, control gates, cut-off timelines, escalation paths, duty coverage and exception handling processes for weekly and urgent patching activities. Coordinate process walkthroughs, readiness reviews, dress rehearsals and transition activities to ensure successful handover into BAU operations. Prepare patch cycle closure records, SLA evidence and governance documentation, including support for KORI and KRCSA reporting requirements. Monitor recurring process, ownership and operational gaps, identify improvement opportunities and work with Tooling, Data and Automation teams to drive process enhancements.
