Job Title: Draftsperson (Marine Electronics / AutoCAD) About the Company Our client is a global leader and established brand in the marine electronics industry. They are currently looking for a motivated Draftsperson to join their dynamic Projects & Retrofit team, offering a supportive environment with guidance to expand your technical skills. Job Description & Responsibilities Technical Drafting: Prepare outline, detailed, and preliminary drawings using AutoCAD based on project specifications. Schematics: Draft single-line diagrams, terminations, and arrangement layouts. Documentation: Compile and organise necessary engineering documentation for customer and classification society reviews. Progress Tracking: Monitor work schedules to ensure the timely delivery of drawings. Team Collaboration: Maintain proper filing systems (service reports, inspection files) and assist supervisors with ad-hoc project tasks. Requirements Education: Minimum NTC 2 / 3, Nitec, or ITE qualification. Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge or hands-on exposure to AutoCAD (2D) . (Guidance will be provided for 3D drafting and specialised marine layouts) . Computer Literacy: Familiar with essential office tools like MS Word, Excel, and PDF. Attributes: Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset. Good-to-Have (Not mandatory): Basic understanding or interest in electrical or electronic systems. Any prior exposure to marine electronics or ISO standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 45001).
