Business Development Executive (Forwarding & Logistic)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
• Proactively canvass and acquire new corporate accounts through various sales channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and account onboarding.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
• Work closely with operations and customer service teams to resolve shipment-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to improve service offerings and strengthen customer experience.
• Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop long-term partnerships that contribute to sustainable revenue growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience within the Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, Air Freight, Sea Freight, or Transportation industry .
• Proven track record in business development, lead generation, and account acquisition.
• Strong hunter mentality with a passion for sales and closing new business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of logistics solutions.
• Results-driven with a proactive and positive attitude.
