Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Lagos. The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensure work is executed according to design specifications and standards, and coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers. Responsibilities include monitoring quality control on site, supervising civil and structural works, verifying materials and workmanship, and maintaining accurate site records and reports. The role also involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and communicating project progress to relevant stakeholders. The Site Engineer will contribute to planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to support timely and cost-effective project delivery. Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in an on-site construction environment, with strong familiarity with field operations and site supervision. Strong communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders, and for preparing clear technical reports. Experience in quality control, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Background in structural engineering with working knowledge of structural design principles and their application on construction sites. Professional experience as a civil engineer, including oversight of civil works, site layout, and infrastructure projects. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certification or registration is an advantage. Proficiency in engineering design and project management software, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
