SALES ASSISTANT

They often perform the following duties: Greeting customers when they enter the store or department and offering assistance Determining customer needs and recommending products to fit them Answering questions about products and services Informing customers about sales, promotions and policies Demonstrating how products work to encourage sales Processing payments using a POS system and packaging purchases Stocking merchandise and creating displays to maintain the appearance of the sales floor Taking inventory on a periodic basis
