About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy warehouse operation in Dartford.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can lead and support a warehouse team while also getting involved in daily operations and operating a counterbalance forklift. The position is initially for 3 months, with the potential to extend for the right candidate.
- Supervising and supporting the warehouse team on a day-to-day basis.
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Coordinating picking, packing, goods-in and goods-out activities.
- Loading and unloading deliveries and moving stock around the warehouse.
- Ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
- Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Motivating team members and helping achieve daily operational targets.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Bendi Forklift.
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

- £16.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday working hours.
- 8:00am–4:00pm shift.
- Initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential to extend.
