Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company for unmanned systems across air, land and maritime domains. We develop and scale integrated hardware, software and AI-powered solutions for mission-critical operations. By combining autonomous platforms with intelligent software and AI, Quantum Systems enables customers to operate, understand and act across domains.

As UxS Fleet Manager, you own the operational readiness and traceability of Quantum Systems' unmanned air and land systems used for demos, trainings, and field activities. You ensure every platform, payload, battery, accessory, and software configuration is complete, serviceable, correctly documented, and ready when needed.

You manage the full asset cycle—from preparing and documenting shipments through receiving and inspecting returned equipment. You maintain accurate location and status records, install software and firmware upgrades or downgrades, resolve routine issues, and coordinate repairs with Repair, Support, Production, Fulfilment, and Software Engineering.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

Fleet Operations & Readiness — Own the day-to-day readiness of the unmanned air and land fleet. Inspect systems, payloads, batteries, accessories, and supporting equipment; ensure each asset is complete, serviceable, charged, and available for planned demos and trainings. You also help shape the fleet-management function and define the technical standards, tools and processes to operate and scale the fleet.

Inventory & Storage – Maintain inventory by asset and serial number, location and responsible user. Conduct regular physical stock checks, ensure secure and organized storage, and monitor consumables and replenishment needs.

Accountability & Reporting – Document equipment issue and return, reconcile all issued items, report damage or shortages promptly, and provide regular vehicle and inventory status reports.

Training Logistics Support – Prepare course-specific equipment and vehicle checklists. Support safe loading, transport, setup and breakdown, ensuring instructors and equipment reach the training location on time.

Asset Logistics & Handover — Prepare, configure, pack, and document systems for shipment. Coordinate dispatch and handover, then receive and inspect returned assets, reconcile contents, record damage or missing items, and return equipment to a ready state.

Asset Tracking & Status Control — Maintain a reliable record of each asset's location, custodian, configuration, operational status, and upcoming commitment. Keep inventory and status information current and provide clear visibility to internal stakeholders.

System Configuration & Maintenance — Install software and firmware upgrades or downgrades as required, verify configurations, perform functional checks and routine troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs, maintenance, or replacement equipment with the responsible teams.

What you bring to the team:

You have completed vocational training in a technical, logistics, operational, or comparable field, or bring equivalent practical experience.

You bring experience in fleet, asset, warehouse, service, or field operations; exposure to unmanned systems, electronics, or technical equipment is an advantage.

You are comfortable handling unmanned air and land systems, payloads, batteries, accessories, and shipping equipment safely and carefully with the help of our fulfillment team.

You work in a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way, take ownership, and keep documentation accurate even when priorities change.

You can perform software and firmware upgrades or downgrades, configuration checks, and basic technical troubleshooting or are willing to learn it.

You are confident using Microsoft Excel and inventory or asset-management tools to maintain accurate records. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ERP, or similar systems is beneficial.

Your clear and collaborative communication makes you a trusted point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders.

Fluent communication in English is a matter of course for you.

This role is primarily based on site in Gilching, where you prepare equipment for training and manage its storage, issue and return.

You hold a valid Class B driving license and have practical driving experience, with the confidence to operate company vehicles safely.
