Social Creative (m/f/d) – Concepts & Formats
Quantum Systems builds unmanned systems for air, ground and sea. Headquartered near Munich and operating globally, we develop every core technology in-house: platforms, mission software and AI-driven analytics. Armed forces, security agencies and critical infrastructure operators rely on our systems when situational awareness and speed of decision define the outcome.
You own the ideas behind our social channels: posts worth stopping for, formats that come back every week, small campaigns around a launch or an exercise and editorial concepts strong enough to carry a YouTube episode. You find the story in a test flight, a factory floor or a shift in European security, shape it into a format and write the brief our Social Video Creator shoots and cuts.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Come up with the ideas behind our posts, week in, week out. This is the core of the job and the first thing we will judge.
Pick the right shape for each idea: a LinkedIn document post, an Instagram carousel, a 20-second Reel, a Story sequence, a Short or a full YouTube episode.
Build recurring formats: series with a fixed structure the audience learns to expect, so a good idea pays off more than once.
Concept small campaigns around launches, exhibitions and exercises. One central idea, carried across channels for a few weeks, from first thought to a brief a creator can shoot without a second meeting.
Develop editorial ideas for long-form: YouTube episodes, short documentaries, series that run for a season.
Write briefs that hold the hook, the story arc, the shot list and what we must not show. Where words are not enough, back them with a rough proof: a moodboard, a phone test, a storyboard, a Figma frame.
Collect signals all the time: a Reel you watched twice, a key visual on Pinterest, a film title sequence, a format another brand got right. Mould them into working concepts that fit QS, and drop the trends that would make a defence company look foolish.
What you bring to the team:
2-3 years concepting social-first posts and campaigns, in an agency or in-house.
A portfolio of ideas you originated that went live: single posts, at least one recurring format and at least one campaign, each with one line on what it achieved.
At home on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. You know what a LinkedIn document post can do that a Reel cannot, when a Story sequence beats a feed post and why a YouTube episode lives or dies by its title and thumbnail. LinkedIn and Instagram are our primary channels; YouTube is our library of proof. TikTok work counts as evidence, though we do not run TikTok.
A feel for format and story. You can tell whether an idea is a single post, a series or a campaign, and you build each one around a hook, a tension and a payoff. Real people carry our stories: engineers, flight testers, operators.
A reference habit. You save what stops you, from Reels to Pinterest boards, and in interview you can walk us from a saved reference to the concept it became.
Short, specific writing in English.
Enough craft to show an idea yourself: phone footage, a rough cut, a single frame.
