Job Description Our production of Epione® is growing. This ramp-up requires robust tools to secure our supply chain and manufacturing operations, which are still too dependent on manual processes. Reporting to the Design Transfer Manager, you will join a team where you will identify field needs (supply chain, manufacturing, supplier quality) and develop the software tools that meet them yourself (Excel macros, scripts, lightweight applications, agents) while participating in the design and qualification of test benches for production. This position is based in Montpellier. Your missions will be as follows:
Identify, with the supply chain and manufacturing teams, the needs and opportunities for digital tools to secure and accelerate operations (production configuration and testing, inventory management, quality control, supplier reporting).
Design and develop suitable software tools (Excel/VBA macros, Python scripts or other relevant language) autonomously, from the expressed need to commissioning.
Explore and integrate relevant artificial intelligence tools to accelerate development, data analysis, or the maintenance of the created tools.
Participate in the design and development of test benches for production equipment and workstations.
Document the developed tools (specifications, user instructions, traceability) to ensure their sustainability and transferability within the teams.
Ensure the qualification of these software and test benches (protocols, execution, reports, ACS validation).
Participate in the validation of product transfer.
Participate in the constitution of the manufacturing file (Device Master Record).
Participate in process FMEA.
Provide technical support to production.
Participate in the monitoring of rework and concession non-conformities.
Strong interactions with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams will be necessary.
Required Profile Required You are a graduate of a generalist Engineering school with knowledge in Software, Systems, and/or Mechatronics.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in developing software tools applied to an industrial or production environment (VBA/Excel macros and at least one scripting or programming language, e.g., Python, C#).
You have the ability to work autonomously throughout the entire cycle: requirement gathering, development, testing, documentation, commissioning.
You possess analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, writing skills, and good practical sense.
You have a good level of English, both spoken and written, to evolve in an international environment.
You are rigorous and used to documenting your work, which is essential in a regulated environment (medical devices).
Desirable You have experience in the medical device sector or a regulated environment (ISO 13485, FDA, IEC 60601).
You know how to use an ERP.
You know how to use generative artificial intelligence tools to accelerate development or data analysis.
You are familiar with supply chain issues (inventory management, procurement, supplier relations).
