(Jr) Sales Executive - Hospitality - Brussels
For an international hotel in Brussels, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive. The hotel focuses primarily on an international and corporate clientele and, in addition to rooms, also features various F&B and event opportunities.
You will join an international hotel group that places a strong emphasis on quality, development, and growth opportunities.
As a Sales Executive, you will be part of the Sales team, with a strong focus on proactive sales. You will be commercially active in the market, building relationships and ensuring smooth follow-up of new and existing business.
Your responsibilities:
- Market & prospecting – analyzing the market and target groups, identifying opportunities, and actively approaching new customers.
- Sales & contracting – convincing customers during showings, preparing quotes, calculating prices, and conducting negotiations.
- Group reservations – following up on requests and reservations and ensuring a clear briefing towards operations.
- Account management – further developing existing customer relationships and focusing on long-term collaborations.
- Aftersales – following up on customer satisfaction and correctly handling any questions or problems.
- Revenue & growth – renewing contracts, justifying price indexations, and actively focusing on cross- and upselling.
- Networking – representing the hotel during relevant events and sectoral activities.
- Administration & systems – correctly processing contracts and customer data and ensuring structured follow-up in the various systems.
- Collaboration – forming an important link between customer feedback and operations and actively thinking along about possible improvements.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven personality who likes to take initiative and derives energy from customer contact. Furthermore, you possess:
- Hotel experience – initial experience within sales or hospitality is a plus.
- Sales knowledge – preferably, you already have experience in a commercial role or are highly motivated to learn in this field.
- Commercial feeling – you have a nose for business and know how to recognize commercial opportunities.
- Financial insight – you can interpret figures, ratios, and results and draw the correct conclusions from them.
- Computer skills – you have a good knowledge of Excel and are quick to learn new hotel systems.
- Service orientation – you have a natural affinity with hospitality and customer experience.
- Language skills – you speak and write fluent French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
