F&B Manager

For the opening of a new lifestyle hotel in Brussel, we are looking for an enthusiastic F&B Manager who wants to leave their mark on this new story.

As F&B manager, you are a major part of the hotel. In this role, you bear responsibility for the daily operations of the various F&B outlets within the hotel.

• you lead a team of approximately 15 employees and are responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and development of your employees
• you are present on the floor and ensure excellent service and guest experience
• you help to further develop and put the new concept on the map in Brussel
• you contribute ideas regarding the F&B offering
• you collaborate on the development and organization of events
• you handle the administrative responsibilities of the department: rosters, budgets, orders, reporting to management
• you maintain contacts with local suppliers and work closely with other hotel departments
• you report directly to the General Manager

As F&B Manager, you are the driving force behind the various F&B outlets of the hotel. You combine a strong operational presence with leading your team and are given the space to further shape the new concept.

• you have relevant experience within Food & Beverage and hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment
• you have experience in leading, coaching, and motivating teams and are a strong people manager
• you combine a hands-on mentality with good organizational and commercial insight
• you know the Brussel market and understand how to position a new hospitality concept locally
• you are entrepreneurial, proactive, and get energy from building out a new project
• you have an eye for trends within F&B, events, and design and enjoy thinking along about innovative concepts
• you are reliable, strong in communication, and know how to naturally engage people
• you have a flexible mindset and understand that an operational hospitality role requires a certain flexibility regarding working hours
• you speak fluent English; knowledge of French is an asset
• you preferably live in Brussel or the immediate vicinity and have a good knowledge of the Belgian hospitality market and social legislation
