Responsibilities and assignments

About the position

We are looking for a person to act as a Technical Project Manager, responsible for leading enterprise Digital Commerce projects, combining project management, stakeholder relationship management, and solid technical capacity.

The position will play a central role in the connection between business, product, and technology, ensuring clarity of scope, planning, alignment between teams, and quality of technical decisions throughout the project.

We expect a person with relevant experience in B2C and B2B e-commerce, advanced knowledge of the VTEX platform, and the ability to actively participate in the definition of solution architectures and integrations.

Expected profile

We are looking for someone who does not act only in the operational monitoring of the project. The Technical Project Manager must possess sufficient technical depth to understand the proposed solutions, question decisions, identify risks, and lead architecture discussions, without necessarily assuming responsibility for implementation.

We also expect strong relationship capacity with clients and stakeholders, organization to act in complex environments, and the ability to transform technical and business discussions into clear and objective execution plans.

Main responsibilities

• Plan and lead enterprise Digital Commerce projects, monitoring scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and deliveries.
• Act as the main connection point between business stakeholders, technical teams, and other areas involved in the project.
• Manage scope, priorities, and expectations, conducting negotiations with stakeholders when there are changes, risks, or priority conflicts.
• Conduct ceremonies and development processes using Scrum and agile methodologies.
• Structure work plans, monitor the evolution of deliveries, and ensure clear visibility regarding status, risks, and next steps.
• Translate business needs into understandable directions for technical teams.
• Participate in the definition and review of solution architectures, considering functional requirements, integrations, scalability, and platform constraints.
• Conduct technical agendas related to integration architectures and data flow between VTEX, ERPs, CRMs, OMS, payment systems, logistics, marketplaces, and other corporate platforms.
• Work together with architects, developers, and specialists to evaluate technical alternatives and support solution decisions.
• Ensure alignment between architecture, agreed scope, and business objectives.
• Anticipate technical or functional risks that could impact deadline, scope, or solution quality.
• Organize and conduct workshops, technical refinements, discovery sessions, and architecture alignments.
• Structure demonstration roadmaps, preparing scenarios that highlight the main capabilities and deliveries of the project.
• Perform demos, executive presentations, and follow-up meetings with clients, leadership, and boards.
• Communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences, contextualizing impacts, risks, and decisions.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements

Excellent communication, organization, and planning capacity. Proven experience in managing and leading enterprise projects. Practical experience with Scrum and agile methodologies. Experience with management of scope, risks, dependencies, and negotiation with stakeholders. Experience with B2C and B2B e-commerce projects. Fluent English, with the ability to conduct meetings, presentations, and technical discussions. Advanced technical knowledge of the VTEX platform and its main components and capabilities. Sufficient advanced technical knowledge to prepare, discuss, and validate solution architectures. Experience with integration architectures between e-commerce platforms and corporate systems. Ability to understand APIs, integrations, events, data flows, and dependencies between systems. Experience conducting technical meetings with architects, developers, integration teams, and business stakeholders. Ability to produce executive materials and present solutions, deliveries, and decisions to leadership audiences.
