Fibre Optic Engineer

Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, splice, test, and maintain fibre optic cables. Conduct fibre optic testing using OTDR and power meter. Identify and troubleshoot fibre optic faults. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Prepare technical reports and documentation. Ensure all installations meet required technical and safety standards. Work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience* in fibre optic engineering or a related field. OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Practical knowledge of fibre optic installation, splicing, testing, and fault diagnosis. Ability to use fibre optic testing equipment and tools. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to work on-site and travel when required.
