Summary:
Development of H/W and S/W for RF projects(Broad Band, Base Station, RF Beam Forming)
Job Description / Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate strong expertise in RF ATE platforms such as DMDX, LTX-AC, or equivalent RF ATE, including test program development, debug, optimization, and production deployment
- Collaborate with RF design teams to drive Design-for-Test (DFT) requirements, improve testability, and support product transition from design validation through high-volume manufacturing
- Apply in-depth knowledge of RF and microwave measurements, including S-parameters, gain, output power, insertion/return loss, noise figure, harmonics, linearity, phase noise, EVM, and calibration methodologies to correlate on RF loss
- Proficient in the operation, troubleshooting, and correlation of RF test instrumentation, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Noise Figure Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and related measurement systems
- Lead cross-functional and global project teams to drive test development initiatives, align technical requirements, manage project execution, and ensure successful product introduction and manufacturing readiness
- Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python, C#, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar programming languges to improve test coverage, measurement repeatability, manufacturing yield, and production efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of RF, microwave, and semiconductor test technologies
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in RF product development and test engineering, including RF test hardware design, fixture development, product characterization, qualification, and production test implementation from concept through production release
- Experience with Cohu LTX-ac tester platform / Cohu LTX-Pax and DMDX tester platforms
- Advanced understanding RF test items such as S-parameters, gain, output power, insertion/return loss, noise figure, harmonics, linearity, phrase noise, EVM
- Knowhow to control SA (Specturm Analycer), WNA (Vector Network Analyzer), PM (Power Meter)
- Strong technical ability & knowledge of test instrumentation devices such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, switching, frequency counters and power meters.
