Your tasks
- Implement and monitor workplace safety programmes.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Prepare RA, SWP and Lifting Plans.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare required reports to MOM.
- Address Safety Observations and NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection records and training records.
- Ensure workers’ PPE is safe and in good condition.
- Liaise with clients, main contractors and subcontractors on site safety matters.
- Assist the Project Manager with safety matters and attend site meetings.
- Prepare safety reports for management.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.
- Must have Reinforced Concrete (RC) construction experience.
- Must be able to independently prepare Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Lifting Plans.
- Must be able to respond to and close out Safety Observations, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Safety Reports.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.
- Possess relevant safety qualifications and certifications.
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with project managers, main contractors and subcontractors.
