Sunderland | 1–3 PQE | Private Client | Flexible Working

If you've got a couple of years' Private Client experience but feel like you're still being given the same work, this could be a good time to make a move. I'm working with an established Sunderland firm that's looking to add a 1–3 PQE Private Client Solicitor to its team.

The attraction here is the breadth of work and the amount of ownership you can build. You'll be handling your own matters across areas such as Wills, Probate, LPAs, Court of Protection and estate administration, with scope to pick up more complex work as your experience develops. There is also the opportunity to work with business owners, property investors and professional clients, giving you exposure beyond a purely straightforward Private Client caseload.

At this stage, I'm looking for someone who can already manage their own files and is ready to take the next step:

• Comfortable handling client matters with limited day-to-day supervision
• Around 1–3 years' Private Client experience
• Good grounding across core Private Client work
• Keen to develop technically rather than simply process files
• Comfortable building direct client relationships
• Interested in taking on more responsibility as experience grows

The firm isn't looking to box you into a particular specialism either. If there's a particular area of Private Client you're interested in developing, there is scope to build your caseload in that direction.
