Just qualified and want to actually build your Private Client career rather than get lost in a big team? I've got an opportunity with an established Sunderland firm that's looking for an NQ Private Client Solicitor to join an experienced team.

This isn't about expecting an NQ to arrive with a ready-made following or a huge caseload. It's about finding someone who has trained in Private Client, enjoyed it and wants to keep developing after qualification.

You'll be able to build experience across a broad range of matters, including Wills, Probate, LPAs, Court of Protection and estate administration, with the opportunity to develop your own client relationships as your experience grows. There is also exposure to a good-quality client base, including business owners, property investors and professional clients, rather than simply dealing with straightforward volume work.

At NQ level, I'm looking for someone who:

• Has trained in Private Client and wants to stay in the area
• Has some experience running matters and dealing directly with clients
• Is comfortable asking questions but increasingly wants to take ownership
• Wants exposure to a broader Private Client caseload
• Is interested in developing a long-term career rather than simply finding their first post-qualification move

The firm is relatively flexible in how the role develops. You're not expected to have everything figured out on day one, and there is scope to develop towards the areas of Private Client that interest you most.
