Production Technology Technician (m/f/d)
Your Tasks Monitoring equipment performance during production as well as error analysis and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions, including fine-tuning of parameters, mechanical adjustments, and replacement of components to minimize downtime. Practical technical support for production teams regarding equipment-related problems. Documentation and tracking of equipment problems as well as support with corrective actions. Communication of equipment problems to engineers and active participation in root cause analyses and performance improvements. Proactive collaboration with engineers on equipment adjustments, trials, and data collection as part of continuous improvement initiatives. Support of pilot runs as well as participation in the introduction of new or adapted manufacturing processes into series production. Support of equipment and infrastructure readiness during new product introductions. Maintenance of part numbers as well as updating work instructions in connection with equipment and process changes. Execution of planned preventive maintenance work according to maintenance schedules.
Your Profile Completed vocational training or technical training in the field of electronics, mechatronics, automation, or a comparable qualification. Initial professional experience in production, equipment support, automation, or in a technical service environment is an advantage. Strong hands-on mentality with a high affinity for equipment, electronics, and production technology. Ability to systematically analyze technical problems and support practical solutions directly in production. Basic knowledge of MS Office, experience with Visio is an advantage. Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious way of working. Ability to work independently while simultaneously working closely with engineers, production teams, and external partners. Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and applications. Good English skills for daily communication in the production environment, German skills are an advantage. Experience with new product introductions or production validation tests is an advantage.
