Team Leader Production Line – Automotive Manufacturing (m/f/d) – Jülich
Your Tasks Management of daily operational business on the production lines for automotive products and coordination of the production employees on-site. Creation of shift schedules, distribution of tasks, and technical guidance of employees during ongoing production operations. Implementation of the requirements of the quality management system IATF 16949 and the applicable ESD protection specifications. Monitoring of production quality and reduction of errors, rework, and material waste. Monitoring of production performance during the respective shift and ensuring the achievement of delivery targets. Immediate reporting of production deviations and coordination of rapid rectification. Consistent implementation of 5S standards on the production lines. Implementation of standardized workflows, operational Lean measures, and continuous improvement measures on-site. Recording of production data for the respective shift and creation of the required production reports. Ensuring a complete and structured shift handover. Close cooperation with the Process Technology, Quality, Materials Management, and Maintenance departments to solve problems during assembly and during End-of-Line tests. Ensuring compliance with German occupational safety regulations and internal specifications for the production area.
Your Profile Completed vocational training or university degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field. Comparable technical qualifications will also be considered. At least two years of professional experience in the production of automotive components. At least one year of experience in coordinating a production team as a Team Leader or Shift Supervisor. Knowledge in the assembly of automotive products and in basic testing processes. Experience at a Tier-1 automotive supplier is an advantage. Knowledge of Lean methods such as 5S and 8D. Confident handling of MES and SAP in operational production business. Ability to quickly recognize problems on-site and coordinate the necessary corrective measures. Ability to monitor improvement measures and report on their progress. Strong practical skills and a meticulous way of working. Solution-oriented way of working and a high sense of responsibility. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with team members and colleagues from other departments. Good English skills for daily communication in an international production environment. German language skills are an advantage.
