Junior Test Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Server Hardware
Your Tasks Working with existing test systems as well as gradual participation in the creation and further development of test automations. Support in testing hardware-related components in development projects and in series production through planning, execution, and documentation of tests on our own test platform.
Setup, operation, and maintenance of test environments that reflect production configurations, with the support of experienced colleagues.
Support in the analysis of test errors and participation in root cause analyses in close cooperation with development and production.
Technical support for production regarding test-related questions as well as assistance in the analysis of software or system problems.
Support during the introduction of new products into production as well as with validation and production tests.
Active participation in the continuous improvement of test processes with growing experience.

Your Profile Completed vocational training or studies in the field of IT, electronics, computer science, or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., IT-Systemelektroniker, Elektroniker, Fachinformatiker) or similar. Alternatively, a strong basic technical qualification with practical experience and the motivation to develop into the role of a Test Engineer. Initial experience in the areas of testing, IT systems, hardware, production environments, or test automation is an advantage, but not a must. Basic knowledge of Linux as well as interest in system administration and troubleshooting. Experience with scripting languages or programming (e.g., Python or Bash). Alternatively, the willingness to acquire these skills. Knowledge in the networking area (e.g., Switch-Konfiguration) is an advantage. Interest in hardware, server systems, and technical processes in a production environment. Structured, careful way of working with an eye for quality and documentation. Ability to work independently and at the same time be a team player. Very good English skills for daily cooperation; German skills are an advantage. High willingness to learn, initiative, and motivation for continuous professional development.
