Location: Colchester, Essex (full-time, office-based) Salary: Up to £32,000 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Full UK driving licence and access to own car essential Our client is looking for an organised and detail-focused HR & Payroll Administrator to join their team in Colchester. You'll provide day-to-day HR administration and support the monthly payroll process, making sure employee records are accurate and staff queries are handled promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full employee lifecycle administration Maintain accurate employee records on the HR system and personnel files Collate and process monthly payroll inputs Check payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Administer absence and holiday records Carry out right-to-work checks and support pre-employment screening Respond to employee queries on HR and payroll matters Support managers with HR paperwork and meeting notes Handle confidential information in line with GDPR About You: 1 to 2 years of experience in an HR administration role Working knowledge of payroll is an advantage Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines Confident using Microsoft Office Professional, approachable and discreet Full UK driving licence and access to own car is essential
